Our Teen Correspondent, Chase Tallman
STRIKES AGAIN!
It's been several weeks since our last
visit - but, here's Amazing Colorizing's latest effort for our New York State resident, Chase Tallman, a teenage connoisseur of Colorized History, particularly HIS corner of the world - Schenectady and Albany, New York.
Chase has given us another challenging photo to colorize - a detailed scene of State Street. facing Canal in downtown Schenectady in September 1909.
The many flags are on display in celebration of Schenectady's "Board of Trade Carnival" - whatever that might have been. Chase, do you know?
Here's The same block of State Street thirty years later, about 1939. Except for the motor vehicles, not a lot had changed.
And here's the neighborhood as it looks today. Some of the buildings are recognizable from our 1909 scene. Thanks, Chase Tallman, for another great Schenectady historical image to colorize.
America has a colorful story to tell. This is a perfect set-up for me to briefly explain how to commission us to restore & colorize your Family Photos.
First, you email us your Black & White photo image. We'll evaluate its image clarity, to ensure you'll be happy with the finished colorized version. We prefer payment in advance of work, via PayPal - and we can set that up during our chat or by email.
We'll email you an enlarged and restored Black & White jpg image and an enlarged Colorized jpg image - usually within 48 hours. You can copy these files to a flash drive and take them to your local printing service, like FedEx Office (aka FedEx-Kinkos) or Office Depot.
You can easily upload them to an online print service such as Snapfish. This is especially handy, if you want to print your colorized image as a Canvas Wrap.
If you have a printer at home, you can cut out the middle man. Contact us today! amazingcolorizing@gmail.com - or call David at (805) 585-0420.
