Now, onto our blog for the Week of November 24, 2019:

Here are a couple faces known to television audiences in the 1950s and for decades to come,

Betty White, starred on "Life With Elizabeth", "Date With The Angels", "The Mary Tyler Moore Show", "The Golden Girls - and was a regular guest celebrity on popular game show, "Password", hosted by her husband, Allen Ludden.

Lorne Greene played the ever-wise patriarch of "The Ponderosa" ranch, Ben Cartwright, on NBC's long-running western, "Bonanza". Later, he starred as Commander Adama on "Battlestar Galactica". In 1964, Lorne hit the Top-40 with the western saga of "Ringo".

So, here are Lorne and Betty hosting NBC's telecast of the 1966 Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade - or as folks in the New York-New Jersey area know it, "The Macy's Day Parade".
